Commercial & Events Pickups

You can reduce your waste headed to the landfill/incinerator AND contribute to positive social and environmental change by diverting your compostables with Compost Co-op.

Working with local farms, we help turn “waste” into living-wage jobs, healthier soil, and even worm castings, an amazing soil amendment.

Businesses: we work with governmental and non-profit organizations that offer free waste-reduction services, signage, and maybe even a subsidy to get you started!

We support event organizers with composting services at Woolman Hill Quaker Retreat Center in Deerfield and Quonquont Farm in Whately. We also work with restaurants, condominiums, town transfer stations, schools, and other institutions.

However you do it, divert those food scraps! This is a relatively simple thing ordinary folks can do to protect the climate.

Compost Co-op supports our region’s composting infrastructure — and we need more of it! Whether it’s providing free composting services for community celebrations such as Stone Soup Café’s Free Harvest Supper every August or sliding-scale pricing for residential customers, we are committed to building with others a local, closed-loop food system.

Get in touch to begin the free audit and estimate process, or to start with just one container. The unit price goes down as you divert more scraps.

Please support local venues and events that work with us!
